Description

A very cool and rare radio broadcast 12-album set from the legendary Rolling Stones, "Past and Present," from The Mutual Broadcasting System, that was sent only to radio stations in 1982. Includes programming sheets and other promotional info. This one has a high book value of $1200 and doesn't come up on eBay too often. Cover of box has some definite wear with brown staining at top and splits at three corners. One flap is partly torn off. Bottom box has only one corner that's split. But you can't play the cover, right? The albums are the most important thing and they're in awesome condition (only side 2 of hour 1 has two mild scuffs). Looks like they've never been played, with great gloss, bright clean white labels and no scratches. Should be an awesome listening experience. All the programming notes are in Mint condition, too. No creases or soiling. Lily white heavy bond paper. Also includes a business reply card that the station manager was supposed to send back to the Mutual Broadcasting System to let them know when the program was played. Pretty cool.

Overall, a great copy of a rare album set. A must for any serious Rolling Stones collector. Great low opening bid. Check out my other auctions. I'm clearing out most of my record collections, including folk, 50s rock, classic rock, jazz, country and more. Buy more than one, and I'll combine shipping.
