Here is the epic Rolling Stones collection put out by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab back in the 1980s. I obtained this back then from a collector, and never played any of the LPs, save for Beggar's Banquet, only once. The box has been shelved since.
Unfortunately there was a defect with this particular box set. Instead of the LP of "Get Yer YA-YA's Out" that was supposed to be included, MFSL pressed another copy of Hot Rocks 1, and instead of "Hot Rocks 2" MFSL pressed another..yup, you guessed it, Hot Rocks 1 again. One would think a company such as Mobile Fidelity would have their sh*t together, but, apparently that was not the case with this one. So there's 3 copies of Hot Rocks 1 included in this set. The cover of the book has the the typical wavy warping effect to ONLY the front cover (apparently the majority of these box sets had that unfortunate mishap w/ the front...but the rest of the book is pristine.) Geo Disc is present and in excellent condition. Also accompanied as well in this set is the certificate warranty card, limited edition bonus poster card and the MFSL catalog booklet.
CONDITION OF VINYL: MINT. Every LP, minus Beggars, unplayed. However, there's a small scratch on side two of the Hot Rocks misprint that was supposed to be "Get Yer Ya Ya's Out". Plays all the way through. I grade all of my vinyl according to Goldmine standards. Box itself is in excellent condition. Jackets still retain a high gloss newness to them. No creases, dings, etc.. I would grade the jackets as NM, since there's very faint shelf wear to the bottoms upon closer inspection. If you want a bargain and not fork over a lot of $$$$$, this set is for you. The LPs need to be played, not stored anymore!
