The Rolling Stones - Let it Bleed
I am pleased to offer for sale this superb, archival quality copy of the Rolling Stones eighth studio album, Let it Bleed.
The vinyl has the much sought-after unboxed Decca label and is found within an album that contains all original components: laminated sleeve with 'Poster Included' sticker, the fold out poster and 'Let it Bleed' inner sleeve.
The album is found in as close to as-new as a 50 year old record is likely to be and would constitute a true 'final upgrade' addition to any Stones vinyl collection.

The extremely rare 1W matrix number for side 1 is that of a true UK first pressing and suggests that the record was produced early in the production cycle. The fourth pressing plate (2W -> 4W -> 5W -> 6W) was used to stamp side 2 and evidences the somewhat chaotic nature of pressing records in the late 60s at Decca. That being said, they certainly knew how to produce great sounding records and this example is no exemption. Take a listen yourself below!
The labels are the first variant evident by the absence of a speed indicator as well as the catalogue number being printed upside down.
The vinyl is housed within the original front side laminated Upton Printing Group sleeve with the poster sticker to the front side and aural indicator hole to the top right hand corner of the rear.
The album is complete with the original Let it Bleed stereo inner sleeve on which 'The London Bach Choir' text is not blocked out in addition to the original four panel fold-out poster.

The labels are bright, clean and without writing. No spindle marks are visible on either side.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
The vinyl displays immaculate 'factory-fresh' deep-gloss playing surfaces which are unmarked in bright daylight. Underneath the haze of a halogen desk lamp a single 0.5cm mark is visible to side 2. Otherwise, an iridescent rainbow shine is all that can be seen. It is difficult to buy new records that look this good.

As can be heard in the recordings, the audio is fantastic. This copy has clearly seen very little playtime. There are quiet lead-ins to both sides and minimal static in between tracks. There is great channel separation, clear vocals and a punchy bass. You will not need to look for another copy.
Similar to the vinyl, the sleeve is in as-new condition. Both the front and rear are clean and bright. The laminate retains the original lustre. The cover art is vibrant. There is no ring wear, the spine is without wear, the top and bottom edge are without wear. The corners are sharp and crisp.
Inner Sleeve: EXCELLENT +
The original inner sleeve looks great. It is very clean, has minimal discolouration and very little creasing. The poster is looks unopened.
Additional Details:
Before the audio test, the vinyl was cleaned first by an Okki Nokki vacuum cleaner and then an Audio Desk ultrasonic cleaner.
After cleaning, the vinyl was placed inside a brand new mobile fidelity anti-static inner sleeve.
The vinyl will be packaged outside of the sleeve, both of which are stored inside an archival quality polypropylene outer sleeve.
The record will be sent via an insured courier in a padded vinyl mailer.
