Description

An unusual feature with this album is that on the record labels the matrix numbers are printed upside down, also the playing speed is not shown on the labels, which are a darker blue. The matrix numbers are XZAL-9363-PIW and XZAL-9364-PIW. The title of the first album song when originally published was spelt "Gimme Shelter" but on the cover and the labels here it's spelt "Gimmie Shelter" The record clean and bright with some faint cross track marks. The inner poly sleeve is printed with advice about playing stereo records and the care of the stylus and equipment and does not list any track or production credits. The album sleeve, laminated on the front and matt on the back has some light handling creases and lightly rubbed corners. The top edge has separated from the glued strip along the lull length. The back cover has an "indicator hole" to let the inner sleeve peep through - blue shows a stereo record. Included in the sleeve is a double folded poster of the group in excellent condition
