Both sides stamped from the absolute earliest metalwork pulled from the master source at Customatrix, hand-finished at the legendary Columbia Terre Haute factory.

  • The "Gimmie" First-Press Identifiers: Features the highly prized, authentic first-print spelling "GIMMIE SHELTER" on both the blue label and the back of the jacket. (Later reissues corrected this to "Gimme").
[1, 2, 3] Condition Details & Collector Notes:
  • The Vinyl (VG+): A gorgeous, highly reflective copy that retains its deep factory luster. Sourced from an authentic 1969 Double Mother 1 pressing. Visually, the wax shows a few light, superficial surface paper scuffs and minor cosmetic hairlines on each side from being slid in and out of its sleeve over the decades. However, it has been fully play-tested and delivers a spectacular playback experience with ZERO skips. Music plays loud, crisp, and clear over the minor visual blemishes.[1]
The Original Poster (VG+): Fantastic, premium condition. This original 1969 U.S. edition fold-out band portrait poster is crisp, flat, and vibrant. It has never been displayed, contains absolutely zero tape residue, pinholes, or corner tears, and features standard pristine factory folds. Notes a minor, clean 2-inch diagonal handling crease in the upper left corner and standard, light vintage yellowing/toning on the back side due to natural age. This insert alone is highly sought after by Stones collectors.

The Inner Sleeve (NM): The iconic original 1969 solid pink lyrics and credits inner sleeve with black lettering. It remains stiff, bright, and completely split-free—a beautifully preserved copy of the authentic U.S. first-press inner dust jacket. Jacket Condition Very Good (VG): Original 1969 heavy cardboard jacket in solid structural shape. Seams are free of tape, splits, or writing, noting a small 1/4 to 1/2-inch superficial paper lift at the top edge corner and a minor paper lift on the tip of the fourth corner. The other 3 corners are intact and free of major wearing. A portion of the bottom seam construction on the back cover has naturally unglued over time and features a tiny 1/4-inch nick of cosmetic paper loss UNDER the words "25th Street" in the address line, though all text remains completely visible and readable. Also notes a small handling indentation along the bottom back edge. The front cover shows standard vintage ring wear flaking, visible as a scattered cluster of tiny white specks revealing the underlying cardboard within the black turntable graphic panel.

This is an absolute centerpiece-grade copy of a landmark classic rock masterpiece, fully intact and preserved in extraordinary condition.
Shipping:  Vinyl will be placed in an anti-static archival sleeve and will be placed outside of the jacket to prevent seam splits.  Jacket will be placed in a new plastic sleeve. Everything will be sandwiched between cardboard to ensure maximum safety. Mailed with USPS Ground Advantage with insurance coverage.
