Very rare 1976 JAPAN ONLY release of
ROLLED GOLD
2LP BOX SET
with OBI, 16 page booklet printed on beautiful paper and a 12" x 12" thick cardboard reproduction of the artwork by Katsu Yoshida.
This is one of those releases that show that somehow the Japanese have always understood much better than anybody else how music should be released. Fantastic box, beautiful artwork depicting the stones NAKED (!) and superb quality.
The records have never been played and absolutely perfect.
All inserts are in perfect state as well.
The box shows some shelf-wear at the edges of the lower and right spine, and in the corners, but for a record 33 years old still is in great shape.
ROLLED GOLD has always been a very popular collection of Stones songs, it was the ugly artwork used in the rest of the world that made the record set less appealing This is THE BEST EVER!
A great addition to any collection, very hard to find nowadays!!
