Description
ENGLAND'S NEWEST HITMAKERS LP
MONO - U.S. RELEASE
FULL COLOR PHOTO IN MINT CONDITION
LONDON FFRR full frequency range recording
Condition is as follows:
Cover: VG+ The flaws should be visible in the photos. There is no tape anywhere. The seams and spine are 100% intact though there is a good deal of scuffing. There is a name written in blue ink on the back - I have provided a photo. The top right corner of the back has some peeling but the main body of the back is in good shape. The front cover is in pretty nice condition overall, especially the main body of the cover - the flaws are all around the edges and as you can see in the Gallery photo, the main area of the front cover (with the Stones) is just about perfect. This is a "textured" cover, not a slick, high gloss copy that they did for the re-issues.
Vinyl LP: VG+ to NM Why the range? Because Side 1 is as close to Mint as you are going to get - it is virtually noise-free, even between tracks. In the silent parts of "I Just Want To Make Love To You" there is no noise - it is just beautiful. Now for the VG+ part. On the first song on Side 2 "I'm A King Bee" there are a few ticks right at the beginning - maybe 4 ticks over the fist 12 seconds - then it cleans up and sounds great. The fidelity is amazing and if you have not heard the Mono version guitar break when Mick says "sting" you have not heard the Rolling Stones. Another ear opener on this LP is "Walking The Dog." The sound difference on this and the re-chanelled stereo version is like listening to two different recordings. You just won't believe your ears.
Labels: VG+ There is no writing - there are no rips or tears. However, if you look really closely you can see a light outline of scribbly lines, as if someone put a piece of paper over the labels and scribbled on the paper and an outline appeared on the labels. Maybe it's the way they were made - I don't know - but if you hold them a foot away you won't see any lines, if you hold the album right infront of your eyes and tilt it you will see a light outline of lines on the labels. VG+ should pretty much cover it.
Full Color Photo: Just beautiful - no flaws that I can see. This is probably the strongest part of the package (this and side 1.)
The track listing can be seen on the back cover photo. Please e-mail me if you have any questions. Thank you very much for looking and good luck bidding.
