Description
Released on Rolling Stone Records, cat # COC 69100; this is the double “Exile On Main Street” by The Rolling Stones.
This LP, along with all the other albums I have listed, has come from an extensive reviewer/DJ collection and has not seen the light of day since he received it shortly before official release.
The gatefold sleeve with centre opening is in very good condition. There is some sun-fading to the spine and the top left corner on the seam is creased. The rear has a ridge running the length of sleeve that goes over into the inner fold and is clearly a crease. Both records come in the illustrated card inner sleeves and outer white sleeves.
The card sleeves are free of splits and are in at least excellent condition with the odd tiny crease to the extremes of the corners. All four labels are unmarked and I would be tempted to say that these records are unplayed. As you can imagine, all four sides are unmarked and in mint condition.
The added bonus with this copy of “Exile on Main St” are the twelve postcards that are all still nicely attached to one another. These were limited to the very first pressings and it is very hard to find these still intact in this way.
Postage and packing will be £3.60 UK, £5 Europe and £8 USA and the Rest of the World. Payment by PayPal is preferred for all customers; though I will accept cheques or postal orders for UK customers. Overseas customers must pay by Paypal unless agreed otherwise prior to auction end.
