Rolling Stones ?– Exile On Main Street - First issue.

Selling-up my extensive record collection. Lots of interesting records in the collection - do have a look at my other items, and there are new listings every week. I may have obscure things that you didn't even know you wanted!
Here is my old-faithful copy of Exile, which I've had since the seventies. Sorry, no postcards! A2-B1-C1-D1 matrices, so first-issue.
Pictures are my own photos of the items for sale. Photos are part of the description, have a good look. 
Cover - pouch-type cover, records go inside, front is a single thickness of (quite thick) card. Cover is discoloured from age and handling, especially around the edges. Front is a bit worn around the edges. A light crease at top right, from an old bend, but otherwise flat. Back / pouch part is quite good - still sound and edges still square, but wear on the corners, and creases from a couple of old bends. Inners are both present - card, with photos and tracks details - and in nice condition.
Records - visual inspection first, then a bit of a listening test. Side one - label has some discoloration. Record has some long light scratches.  Side two - has quite a lot of light scratches, and there's a flat impact on track 2. Side 3 has a few light scratches - there's a longer one, crossing tracks 1, 3 and 4. Side 4 has a squiggle in pen on the label, and a FEW light scratches. I picked side two for a listening test, as having the most acoustic-y tracks, so crackles most likely to be noticeable. I played it loud, on my posh hi-fi. Some crackles at the start of the first track, then the rest of the song is fine. After that, it plays excellently well, with a few light crackles if there's a quiet intro to a song, and if song fades-down to nothing at the end. All the original sound is still there, sounds just as it should. Having rather enjoyed play-testing side two, I thought I'd have a listen to side one, which is my favourite - and that plays excellently well, too. As great a side of rock-and-roll as you'll find anywhere..
My start price is cheap, for a nice copy of the record in a good cover. As a little bonus, I'll throw-in a copy of the promotional flexi-disc for Exile, which came with a music paper in advance of the album release, and includes the brief "Exile On Main Street" song, that isn't on the album.
When I'm checking for damage on records, I look at them carefully with my reading glasses on, in good daylight. This method detects any bits of damage that will affect what you hear when listening to it - and lots that are not audible. Using a spotlight or direct sunlight shows more surfacey marks sometimes, but I don't do that - records are for listening to, not trying to see your face in.
Postage at cost within UK - £3.00 plus 50p for a proper record mailer with two stiffener sheets of cardboard (or whatever's appropriate). Happy to do combined postage wherever practical. I'll charge you what it costs me - so anything up to six (or so) LPs would still be the same charge, £3.50. I'm happy to send this overseas. See below for details, if bidding from outside UK - YOU NEED TO KNOW THIS STUFF.
Dispatch will usually be "next day".
Collection in person is welcome.
I don't mail things personally, to countries outside the UK - ( I mean it, don't ask) - but I am happy to use E-Bay UK's Global Shipping Program, for sending things abroad. Under this scheme, I send the parcel to an e-bay depot in UK, and they forward it to the overseas buyer.
They have a tracked courier service, for the journey from their UK depot, to the buyer.
This means that I can ONLY accept payments through e-bay (Pay Now button), and I can't send invoices. 
E-Bay UK tells me, they do NOT do combined postage in the Global Shipping Programme. Charges to the customer for delivery and customs charges are whatever you're told they are - if you don't want to pay the postal / courier charges individually for the items, then do not bid. HOWEVER, if you win several items, and pay for them all in the same payment, their system may well spot this and do combined postage. If this happens, pay what you're told, and I will refund the excess postage paid to me - if you buy three LPs, I would be getting three lots of £3.50, but I can send all in one parcel, so I only need one lot of £3.50, usually. The exception is, if the items you buy weigh more than 2 kilos altogether, I need to make two parcels - there is a special cheap postage rate in UK, for parcels under 2 kilos. Overseas customers - please DON'T request an invoice - I can't make one, and it screws-up the e-bay system.
International buyers should be able to see a postage cost to their country, you may have to input your location, if your country is included in the scheme.
If your country is not mentioned, please do not bid.

Applicable customs charges will probably be shown to buyers in non-EU countries - E-Bay collects customs duty for the receiving country, wherever import duty is appropriate. If you don't want to pay the customs charges, do not bid.
I don't send to China (because I prefer not to), and I also don't send to Japan, Brazil, Ecuador and Peru, as importation of vinyl records is not permitted in their customs regulations.
