Up for bid is an extremely rare LP, the self titled debut from The Rolling Stones. This is an original mono press, released by London (LL.3375) in 1964. The interior labels are red with silver lettering, with "London ffrr - Full Frequency Range Recording" printed at the top of each side. "Made in England" is printed on both sides of the interior labels. There is a small white sticker at the top of the interior label on side 1 that reads "11" (see pictures). Stamped matrix info reads XARL-6291-3A / XARL-6292-3A. LP is VG, with scuffs and light scratches on either side. LP plays with surface noise (crackle, tics, and pops) - but no skips. LP retains a nice gloss. Jacket is VG, with a seam split along the spine. This split starts at the bottom of the spine and travels upward about 2 inches. All seams have wear. There is scuffing on the front and back of the jacket. Someone has written "Don" in blue ink on the back of the jacket (see pictures). Includes original interior picture. Picture has light edge wear and a crease in the lower left corner, but no tack holes. An original mono press of this LP is difficult to find in any condition, but almost impossible to find with the original interior picture! Don't miss your chance to pick up this extremely rare gem!
