Description

Genuine 1st press..Heavy pressing...The original 1st issue cover - MONO.
Stamper shows one side as the 1B. Its 1B/1BK.
Very 1st label issue....there's a couple of give-aways..>>>
Publishing on left....is misaligned. Side numbering on left....immediately shifts to the right. Catalogue number...No dot. (Sounds silly - but it looks shoddy!). Tape number....inverted - yes that's good... But there's no parenthesis!
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In great condition and has only seen relatively light use. A few light marks per side - nothing audible or nasty. Remember - Decca '68 Mono grooves are >deeeep<....A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback with slight deviation in one spot. Intros and inbetweens are really quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Nice heavy detailed sound...plenty of dynamics...good snappy percussion and drumming. So are we really getting the full gamut here? . The audio is great nothing more than a touch of light background early in Expectations....And that was about it. Blindingly good. Hear the whistling in 'Prodigal Son' -- fantastic reproduction even into the high registries. If you are a Stones addict...this copy will knock you out...<<< Factory girl plays as good as I have ever heard. Even 'Salt of Earth' an inner track is superbly and reassuringly clean. 
Cover (Vg+) Nice surfaces...just lightly aged, but looks good. The spine is 90% intact with all text legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. 
Inner (Vg+) Superb.
