Labels: EXCELLENT +
A vibrant, deep red set with just a handful of barely visible spindle marks to eah centre hole but no other blemishes.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Both playing surfaces of this extremely well looked after and seldom played copy are pristine & unmarked in daylight and retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shines. Careful examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals little more than a sparkling rainbow shine & a few harmless wispy paper-type hairlines but certainly no scuffs, marks or scratches whatsoever. Apart from a slight uneven edge on the turntable when playing side 1 (which does not affect sound or play in any way) this is 'NEAR MINT'
Play: EXCELLENT +
This great sounding copy has received just a handful of careful plays on good equipment and my play check at volume revealed no evidence of any grove/play wear on any track. In fact, apart from a hint of light background in 'Lady Jane' and on the bands between tracks, there is very little to fault. Both sides are also free from any clicks, pops or any other such fault or distractions.
Cover
EXCELLENT
A striking example with a clean & glossy front panel laminate which displays just a few tiny indentations on Bill's head & a very faint disc impression, but no creasing, 'thumbnail' wrinkles. All 4 corners are in great shape with no heavy bumps or bruises & both opening edges are both perfectly clean & straight with no tears or feathering to either. The rear panel is clean & white with just a hint of toning towards the upper edge, but certainly no other marks or any writing or missing paper. Both seams are smooth and unstresses and the spine is fully laminated and worded with its factory-pinched ends still present.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
Clean & flat with an inevitable light disc impression but no splits, tears or writing.
