The above confirms the earliest 1st UK pressing of this monumental Stones release and is cut from the master recording with 1/1 mothers on EACH side of the vinyl. Impossible to locate !

Cover title is shadowed and is exceptionally rare and impossible to locate

Exceptionally rare, title shadowed with purple outline on album sleeve and massively scarce, as only a handful issued in this format. It was just a very few ,of the very 1st mono pressings, that were graced with a sleeve printed with the scarce shadowed title .The ultimate collectors’ item , proving very elusive now and seldom seen with a beautiful 1st pressed monster slab !

Some light creasing on front face. One laminate lift towards the top left corner .A couple of tiny nicks towards the top of opening edge . No major damage. No rips, nor tears .Some white tape on reverse face in two places, possibly concealing some hand writing but looks quite presentable. Some discoloration on reverse due to the ageing process.Very good condition . Impossible to locate in any condition and would stand proud in any serious collection and a must have for any Stones enthusiast

Vinyl

Thick quality press with the odd light surface mark/light scratches visible. Excellent sheen !No serious blemishes on the visual perspective and one of the best I personally have viewed, as most are found with serious surface damage and are heavily played. This monster slab has a lovely reflective deep gloss and is pleasing to view. Not over played at all and is exceptionally rare in this condition. Excellent/- visual.

Labels

Excellent red mono , wide ridged format ,unboxed 1st issue with no damage , just several spindle lines visible. No graffiti,no rips nor tears .Beautiful exhibits of this “hard to find” first press. Earliest label format with the title and group name in the upper case!

Audio

Very good/+ with NO distortion .Tones are delivered clearly and any surface noise is heard at a distance. The odd light scratch is audible ,producing a few ticks/clicks but tones do tend to rise over any surface disturbance, to convey a very commendable delivery. There are no skips, nor jumps, nor repeats and the minor scratches do little to affect music presentation. Generally one of the best I have heard, as most are normally found with massive groove wear and surface damage. Channels operate smoothly with minimal distortion. There is occasional surface noise during the quieter parts of the music and between tracks/opening grooves. There is one feelable scratch S2 Tr6 producing some ticks during play but tones drown most of the interference. The loud cut engineering from the master recording is phenomenal when compared to later pressings. Tones are of the deepest resonance and the monotone perspective produces a tremendous depth of sound. A phenomenal delivery !

A serious addition to any Stones vinyl collection.
