Description

Simply beautiful copy of this cool Roland Kirk Prestige #7210 Lp, "Kirk's Work!"

The Vinyl is very clean with a couple of paper scuffs and sounds great. The classic yellow & black Prestige label is super clean and the spindle holes are tight and ultra clean. This is an original MONO, Deep Groove copy with "RVG" within the run-off portion of vinyl. Grade: VG + (I grade very conservatively).

The Jacket is equally nice, with quite a lot of laminate sheen still intact. All corners/spines are tight. The back of jacket is just as clean.

Grade: VG ++.

 

The players are: Roland Kirk, Jack McDuff (!), Joe Benjamin, and Art Taylor (!).

The tunes: Three for Dizzy, Makin Whoopee, Funk Underneath, Kirk's Work, Doin' The Sixty-Eight, Too Late Now, and Skaters Waltz.

 

A nice original Prestige find with a reasonable reserve for the Roland Kirk fan !
