The second of two copies I found. This single is just as good as the one I sold last week apart from the back cover which shows more sign of wear. The covers are easy to find as they were also issued with the standard black vinyl Riva 9 release and can be picked up for a couple of pounds. The collectable part of this item is the very rare blue vinyl.

Exceptionally rare and sought after Rod Stewart release. Pressed to commemorate Rod’s visit to HMS Ark Royal in October 1978 when he performed live to the officers and the crew. This strictly limited edition was given to all aboard the ship.

Grading

Vinyl

The Blue vinyl has just a few very light hairlines visible when angled under a bright light, probably caused by removal from the paper sleeve. Visually graded excellent Labels

The labels are in pristine condition (see photos) graded M-

Cover

The fragile paper sleeve has some signs of general wear especially to the back cover with some rubbing and ringwear. There are no tears, splits, writing or major faults. (see photos)Anyway you can pick up a RIVA 9 picture sleeve for a couple of quid, it's the blue vinyl pressing which is the very collectable item. Front cover graded Vg+ Back cover Vg.
