Description
THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW – Original Roxy Cast
Starring Tim Curry
Ode Records ODE-9009
Original U.S. stereo LP
Original Roxy Cast recording of The Rocky Horror Show, produced by Lou Adler and featuring Tim Curry as Frank-N-Furter. This is the stage-production cast recording, not the later motion-picture soundtrack.
This copy is especially nice where it counts: the black vinyl is exceptionally clean and glossy and appears to have seen very little handling.
Deadwax / Runouts:
Side A: STERLING / [earlier matrix crossed out] / ODE-9009-A / HUB
Side B: STERLING / HUB / [earlier matrix crossed out] / ODE-9009-B
The record has STERLING mastering on both sides and retains the unusual crossed-out preliminary matrix inscriptions before the final ODE-9009 matrices.
Includes:
Original ODE-9009 gatefold jacket
Original shaped Tim Curry photo/lyric insert
Original black-vinyl LP
The jacket shows age and storage wear as photographed. Vinyl is in outstanding visual condition. Please examine all photographs for the exact condition.
Storage-unit disclosure:
This record came from a storage-unit collection. I buy and sell storage-unit contents and am not an experienced professional record cleaner, so I have not attempted to clean the vinyl. It is being sold as found/as-is. No play grade has been performed. Please use the photographs and listed runout information to verify the pressing.
