Description
Hi and thank you for viewing my auction. I am clearing out a large quantity of my vinyl collection some of which is rare and collectible. I will aim to give an honest appraisal of the condition of each record and sleeve as well as giving a realistic opening price for auction items.
Much of the vinyl I am selling is from the 70's and 80's, including funk, disco, Tamla Motown and Soul. There will be several demos and promos amongst them, some of which may be difficult to value so you never know, you may pick a rare, collectible item at a bargain price.
Sold items will be despatched as soon as possible after purchase and proof of postage will always be obtained in case of any issues arising.
Right, here is a bit of an oddity from my limited edition box, and I'm still wondering how it got there. Probably one that dropped through the letter box as a promo and at the time I didn't have the right audience to whom I could play this specialist item.
A little about the guy from Wiki:
"Robert Rental was the stage name of Robert Donnachie (1952–2000), a British pioneer of the post-punk DIY industrial electronic music scene in the United Kingdom."
This is, I understand a very rare item, originally issued as a 7" with hand coloured cover. This could be one of the original run of about 500 copies issued in 1978, but missed out on the hand colouring, or it's a second pressing. Either way, it's a great item, with hand stamped white label with artist, title, company and credits.
Sleeve is intact but a little grubby, vinyl is unplayed so in very good condition. Haven't a clue what this is worth, but will start at a tenner and see where it goes from there.
