Description
Hi there,
This an auction for a very good copy of the wonderfully eccentric Robert Calvert "Captain Lockheed & The Starfighters" UK Vinyl LP from 1974, on the United Artists Record Label, Cat. No. UAG 29507, being an A1/B1 pressing purchased around the time of release.
The Rather Superior Special Gatefold Outer Cover is around Very Good ++ Condition. The Eagle Picture Inner Sleeve is just fine though displaying ancient sellotaped seams.
I have played this great album from beginning to end. It looks & plays to a Very Good ++ Standard.
I am an avid record collector of over 45 years & plan to downsize at least a little at a time. I will not make exaggerated claims on any music.
I will not sell what I would not accept as perfectly decent for myself & will try to abide by the Record Collector Grading system.
I will clean all vinyl to a most decent standard.
Please note that postal charges altered as from 2 April 2013. As a result it should now be possible to post 3 & occasionally 4 pieces of vinyl in the UK for the same price as one up to 1 kilo in total weight. P&P is for 2nd Class RM Standard though you may wish to pay 40p extra for 1st Class or collect in person for free. I will combine P&P for the cheapest available option.
If you do win an item it would be useful if you could please tell me if you are considering bidding on something else.
Please inform me if you require any other postage, recorded delivery, insurance etc as I have only listed the most economic option. I always retain Certificates of postage. I will not be held responsible for items that go "missing" in the post though I will seek recompense from RM if this extremely unlikely event does occur. As a result of recent problems with the Italian postal service I am most reluctant to send an item there without insured signed for delivery. This is presently possibly negotiable on an individual basis.
This item comes from a smoke & pet free home.
I will allow this auction to run its course so please do not ask for a Buy It Now Price as I consider this to be unfair to other prospective bidders.
