Description
This second volume of unusual "American Primitive" guitar by Robbie Basho again draws from eclectic influences. It was the fifth to be released by Basho during his days on the Takoma label. I don't know if this one is the first edition or not but the record label design differs from the Volume 1 that I also have listed. Discogs site says that John Fahey's "America" was the only Takoma album to be released first on the short-lived orange and purple label so this copy may not be seen as being as rare as the "Volume 1" that I also have listed. The condition of the vinyl and the jacket are also not as fine as "Volume 1". I'm grading the vinyl EX and the jacket VG+. The surface of the vinyl as minute marks but the record plays without any serious problems - I heard a short period of light crackle in one spot in the album's first track. The jacket has light ringwear at 12 o'clock in the front and more than that on the back side.
