Description
Offered for Sale is a Ringo Starr "RINGO" lp.
This is his third studio album. The album is noted for the appearance of the other three Beatles, and for its numerous guest stars, such as, Marc Bolan, four members of The Band, Richard Manuel, Billy Preston, Klaus Voormann, Nicky Hopkins, Harry Nilsson and Jim Keltner.
It is on the Apple record label with the LP #SWAL 3413
This is the ORIGINAL 1973 GATEFOLD lp, with the ORIGINAL inner sleeves. (plain white, highlighting Ringo also in white) Also included is the ORIGINAL 20 page book of lyrics and drawing.
This LP had never been played, (till now) but as a PROMO I received it open. I play tested it and can say 100% that the record is primo.
Never the less, after 35 to 45 years of shifting around in boxes, wear does occur, so PLEASE check the photos for a clear picture of what you will be receiving. I do not rate covers, only the vinyl itself. Also, there may be minor scuffing marks, from the inner sleeve. This IN NO WAY affects the sound, or I would not list it. There is also the possibility that the inner sleeve could have a slit on one or more of its sides.
NOTE: I was a buyer for two different record chains in Hollywood, Ca. As such, I received a couple of boxes of records a week, to entice me to buy. More often than not, they were always open copies, and if you wanted to sell them to a used record store you could only get about a $1.00 cash, or $2.00 in trade for them.
