Lisztomania is a 1976 progressive rock soundtrack album by Rick Wakeman to the movie of the same name.

It is the soundtrack to the 1975 film Lisztomania by Ken Russell of a biography of Franz Liszt.

Some tracks feature Roger Daltrey. The album was later upgraded as The Real Lisztomania by Wakeman because he was dissatisfied with the original release.

Richard Christopher Wakeman (born May 18, 1949 in Perivale, London) is an English keyboard player best known as the keyboardist for progressive rock group Yes. Originally a classically trained pianist, he was a pioneer in the use of electronic keyboards and in the use of a rock band in combination with orchestra and choir. He purchased his first electronic keyboard, a minimoog, from the actor Jack Wild. Wakeman was able to buy it for half the regular selling price because Wild thought it did not work as it only played one note at a time. He is now a popular member of the Planet Rock family and is regularly on air.

Each entry indicates reference number, speed (LP/45), Artist, Title, Label, Label #, Condition, comments and price. All prices are in US dollars. Unless noted, every record is an original issue for the label and catalog number given. Heres a brief explanation of my grading system, followed by an overview of abbreviations you will encounter...

SS (Still Sealed)

Unopened records, still in original shrink wrap. In original manufactured condition unless otherwise noted (i.e. evidence of mildew or bent corners, etc.)

M (Mint)

The record and sleeve are in perfect, original condition. The record may have been played but will have no evidence of deterioration. If we use this grade at all, the record WILL live up to it! A mint sleeve will be just that: perfect!

NM (Near Mint)

A nearly perfect record. Any visible defects are of the type that "disappear" when the record is tilted under a strong light and they should not affect play. Sleeves in near mint condition will have no obvious signs of wear. Practically imperceptible ring wear may be allowed but no creases, seam-splits, or other easily detected flaws will be present.

VG+ (Very Good Plus)

A well-cared-for record that is noticeably less than perfect, but defects are not visually or audibly distracting. Record surfaces may have slight scuffs or light scratches, but are still primarily clean. Sleeves may have some creases or minor ring wear, but should not be split. Will satisfy all but the most demanding collector.

VG (Very Good)

A used, reasonable copy to play. Many of the defects found in a VG+ copy will be more pronounced in VG condition. Surface noise may be evident and sleeves may look worn, but the record is still a decent copy.

G (Good)

A well-worn record that is still playable. Good does not necessarily mean "bad" but a record in this condition will have audible distractions and may have visible groove wear. Sleeves may have all manner of defects, but are still intact.

FA (Fair) and P (Poor)

These grades are for beat-up records. We only sell records in these grades if they are extremely rare and sought-after.

Payment

Payment is required within 3 days of the close of an auction. I accept PayPal, Money Orders or cashiers checks. If payment has not been made within the required time frame, and all attempts at contacting the buyer to obtain payment have failed, appropriate action will be taken through eBay channels.

Fees

I do not charge state taxes. I do charge a small handling fee of $3.00 ($5.00 international) in addition to the costs for shipping.

Shipping

Winning bidder is responsible for all shipping and handling charges. Insurance is mandatory for fragile, large, or expensive items (over $75). I shall not be held liable for any uninsured items that are damaged or lost in-transit. REMEMBER: NO INSURANCE MEANS NO RECOURSE!!! I ship to any country, anywhere. I generally ship via United States Postal Service; and multiple shipping options are always offered. Please keep in mind that choosing a cheaper option will result in a longer wait time for the item you have won. My shipping charges are a flat rate for both domestic and international buyers. They are calculated by taking the actual shipping cost (according to USPS website) and rounding up to the next highest dollar, then adding handling charges. DELIVERY CONFIRMATION COSTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRACKING ITEMS DOMESTICALLY ARE INCLUDED IN HANDLING FEE.

Delivery

I ship within 1 business day of payment, and packages will only be shipped when all funds have cleared.

Refunds & Returns

I give full refunds, for the price of the item, plus shipping both ways, if and only if I have misrepresented an item in my description, such as any damage or flaws that were not mentioned. I do not issue refunds for buyer's remorse or if the buyer has decided he or she no longer wants the item. The item must be returned in the same condition as received, and packaged for shipment in the same manner. A refund will be given if I am contacted within 5 days of receipt of the item. An item, unless otherwise specified, should be shipped back via the same method as was originally sent to the buyer.
