Richie Allen & The Pacific Surfers: ”The Rising Surf” LP, LP-9229, Imperial Records, 1963, USA.
This is the ORIGINAL US AUDITION-ONLY MONO PRESSING with WHITE LABELS.
The condition of the sleeve: EXCELLENT-
(Slight traces of ring wear to the front. Both seams have a partial seam split on the opening
of the sleeve. The upper seam shows a 4 cm split and the bottom seam a 1 cm seam split.)
The condition of the record: EXCELLENT
(The record shows only the faintest of hairline marks and plays with very light intermittent surface
noise.)
Strict grading. The record has been graded both visually and aurally.
Richie Allen was a pseudonym for Richard Podolor, the famed studio musician and engineer and among other
things, the producer of “Born To Be Wild” by Steppenwolf as well as the co-writer of Sandy Nelson’s “Let There
Be Drums”.

Postal Service. The album will be securely packed with the record itself removed from the sleeve in
order to prevent seam splits during transit.
