Description
Up for grabs is this amazing mono Decca red label ffrr LP (cat no LK4616)- 'R&B', featuring various luminaries of the early UK R&B boom. As Record Mirror said in 1964-

Some of Britain's top R & B singers and groups are assembled together for this hard-hitting disc, which features a variety of fast, slow, wild and cool numbers with one common denominator - the blues. All of the artists are in top form, making this a good LP especially for a party. Although the "live" atmosphere that all of these stars generate in the clubs is missing, nevertheless this is a fine step forward to the perfection of the British R & B sound.

The record is in VG condition. Visually, there are surface scratches over the record, and a few that look more substantial. Having played it through it does have a light crackle in the background, although there are no skips or loud pops at any point. There are spindle marks on both of the labels.
The sleeve is VG+-. The corners are still strong, and the spine remains intact. There's some yellowing to the rear cover, and a small tear to the top right of the rear- it looks like someone's pulled off a label. There's also a small, round sticker on the front cover, but the laminate is holding up well. See the photos for details.
