Rare complete Rhino Records Jukebox Classics: 50's Hits Vol. 2 box set, catalog RNJB 78002.
Issued in 1989, this unusual collector's set contains 25 ten-inch vinyl records playing at 78 RPM, with 50 original hit recordings from the original master tapes. Designed for use in 78 RPM jukeboxes.
Complete set of all 25 records.
Includes the original green storage box, original printed insert/track listing and sheet of preprinted jukebox title strips.
Features recordings by Frankie Lymon & The Teenagers, The Flamingos, The Cleftones, The Marcels, The Monotones, The Chantels, Carole King, Little Anthony & The Imperials, Bobby Freeman, Joey Dee & The Starliters, Buster Brown, The Dubs, The Orioles, The Essex, The Heartbeats, King Curtis and many others.
Records appear very clean overall with nice glossy surfaces. They have not been individually play-tested, so no formal record grade is being assigned.
The original green box shows age/storage wear, including scuffing and discoloration to the exterior and visible staining to the interior, as shown in the photographs.
