The Replacements - When the shit hits the fans - Get Crap Records - Firenze Italy - OK642500 Mono - Here it is, the legendary recording of the Replacements in Oklahoma City on 11/11/84. Originally issued as a cassette only on Twin/Tone Records, it was later issued by this Italian label in a very small run. I don't know how many copies were produced on vinyl by Get Crap, but it's definitely a small number. I've only ever seen one other copy of this...and it sold for over $100. I've been checking on ebay regularly to see what other people are getting, and its just not ever coming up. This is probably the rarest Replacements record out there.
Now to the record itself. The Jacket is NM+...very minor ringwear on front, you may be able to see in the photos. It really only comes out in the light; you can see a faint ringwear line otherwise. The back cover is even less...just a bit of ringwear in the light. The side seam is perfect, no splitting at all. I am the original owner of this record and played it only once! The vinyl is shiny and basically mint. You'll notice the plain white vinyl label and scratched off etching...That's how the folks at Get Crap Records did it. Its exactly as it was sold originally. I'm very sure they're out of business now, so this may never be printed again. If you're thinking about this record, this is your chance to buy it.
