Description

Record : Reg Tilsley - 'Tilsley Orchestral No. 10' - (de Wolfe DWS/LP 3225) - 1972 Condition (Record/Cover): M-/M-

That last in the great Tilsley Orchestral series - What a beauty it is too! 'Hold The Road' is a classic big band groover that could slide between the sheets on any James Bond flick. 'Warlock' keeps the big band in check as it opens with a classy beat and heavy orchestrations - Add some reverbed wah-wah, big funky brass and you've a lovely track.

'Strike Rich' is another slice of big brassy funk that remarkably stays pretty groovy all the way through! Fancy that eh! Lots of other nice tracks all in the orchestral big band vein fill up the rest of the lp. 'Warlock' is the reason to one this one!
