Here is the rare Keith Johnson RR-8, his very first stereo recording captured in 1957, of the Red Norvo Jazz Quintet playing at a local pub.

A fine musical enterprise, audio-wise, with the vibes, guitar, reeds, bass, and drum kit “right there” in your listening room, playing RHEE WAAHNEE, THE FORWARD LOOK, BETWEEN THE DEVIL AND THE DEEP BLUE SEA, ROOM 608, FOR LENA AND LENNIE, and COOKIN’ AT THE CONTINENTAL.

Mastered at half-speed and cut at the JVC Cutting Center in Japan: Jacket is without major fault; record inside will play near mint.

A great copy of an audiophile jazz classic, worthy of the finest vinyl library.
