Description

This is Prestige Records PRLP 7181, Red Garland Soul Junction, a yellow,deep groove label, original mono issue of this excellent recording with RVG stamped in the dead wax, featuring John Coltrane and Donald Byrd.  The record is VG+ condition showing  light marks on both sides but playing quietly throughout except for some light background crackle on the quiet spots. There are no skips, no distortion of the music, and nothing to interfere with the enjoyment of the record. The original laminated cover, has some edge wear and a small tear on Red's hat, but is otherwise intact. The labels are fine with light spindle marks and a small tear on side 2 (see photo 2). This is a fine initial "play"copy of this classic original mono issue. The record has been  cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12.
