A super rare 1974 BBC Transcription Service 2LP set. Part One takes over 3 sides with James Galway (flute) and James Walker (piano) perform Introduction and Variations on an original theme, D.802 (Schubert), Sonata for flute and piano (Poulenc) and Sonata for flute and piano in D major (Prokofiev). Part Two takes up one side, featuring Galway with Barry Guy (double bass)with Cadence 5 (Lazarov-First performance ever) and two amazing improvisations.
DESCRIPTION :Vinyls are VG+. Labels are clean. Sleeves are VG, although they differ in hue. There are black marker writings on edges (catalogue numbers) of sleeves (old style BBC sleeves). Comes with cue sheets.
