MONDAY NIGHT MADNESS  My Personal Record Collection Is Going Up for Auction!

I'm moving overseas and, after a lot of back and forth, I've decided not to take my record collection with me. So it's time to let it go.

I've collected records over many years, and the records I'm putting up for these auctions represent the cream of the crop of my personal collection - the better, more interesting and more collectible records I've accumulated over the years. I have several hundred additional records that I'll be selling separately, but these auctions are where you'll find the records I personally thought were worth setting aside.

This was my personal listening and collecting collection - sometimes I bought a record because I loved the music, sometimes because it was an interesting pressing, and sometimes simply because I thought it was something worth having in the collection.

Most of these auctions will start at just 99¢ with NO RESERVE. They're all one-week auctions starting Monday night at 11 PM. I'm not trying to figure out the absolute maximum value of every record. I'm putting them out there and letting collectors decide what they're worth.

A quick note about condition: These records have been properly stored but have been sitting in storage for the last couple of years, so many are dusty and would benefit from a proper cleaning before playing. I simply don't have the time to clean hundreds of records individually before I leave.

When I collected, I generally cared more about the vinyl itself than having a flawless jacket. A seam split, edge wear, writing, or other cover issue didn't necessarily bother me if the record inside was a nice copy. Please check the photos and the individual condition description for the grading of each record. I also took it as a point of pride when I found a collector record from a second hand store and kept those price stickers on my vinyl if that was the case.

A note about pressings: I am a collector, and over the years I specifically sought out certain pressings, matrix/runout variations, early A1/B1 pressings, mispressings, and other interesting variations. There are plenty of those records included in these auctions. For example, my Led Zeppelin II is a double RL, and there are many other records here that I originally bought because of the particular pressing or variation.

With hundreds of records being listed at once, however, I simply don't have time to research and verify every matrix and runout again for every listing. I'll identify specific pressings when I know or remember them, and I'll try to make catalog numbers and labels clearly visible in the photos. If a particular pressing, matrix/runout, or other detail is important to you, please ask before bidding and I'll be happy to check the individual record for you.

There are going to be hundreds of records listed, including plenty of interesting pressings, unusual variations, and things I've accumulated over the years. Take a look at my other auctions. if you like one record, there's a good chance you'll find a few more.

A note about grading: I no longer have speakers set up, so these records have not been play-tested for these auctions and grading is visual. With the number of records I'm listing and the limited time I have, I've chosen to use VG cover / VG record as a conservative baseline grade for many of these listings unless otherwise noted. I collected these records to listen to, and many are certainly better than VG. Any obvious issues I notice will be mentioned. I'd much rather you receive a record and be pleasantly surprised than disappointed. Please look closely at the photos, and if condition is particularly important to you, feel free to ask about a specific record before bidding.

COMBINED SHIPPING: $6.50 shipping for the first record or lot, then just $1.00 for each additional record or lot purchased. If you're bidding on multiple auctions, please take advantage of the combined shipping!

SHIPPING TIME: Because I'm listing a large portion of my collection at once, I've set a 5-business-day handling time to give me enough time to pack everything carefully, especially for buyers winning multiple auctions. I'll make every effort to ship sooner whenever possible.
