Description

This is the original deep groove RVG-stamped pressing of Ray Draper “Tuba Sounds” on the West 50th St. labels of Prestige PRLP 7096.  The flat rim playing surface is in excellent condition, with just two inaudible scuffs on Side 1. The laminated West 50th Street cover is in extraordinary condition, with sharp corners and unworn seams; the back slick shows normal age toning;  “Not for Sale” stamped at the upper right corner.  Original glassine inner sleeve is included.  Personnel include Jackie McLean, Webster Young, Mal Waldron, Spanky DeBrest, and Ben Dixon.  $400.00.
