Description
Very Rare 67'UK Immediate(IM40) original;P.P.Arnold-Everything's Gonna Be Alright/Life Is But Nothing. In Very Good/Plays Excellent+ condition.A side has some minor wear and a number of surface marks but all very light;typical of a record of the period that spent some of it's early life stored without a sleeve, but it's definitely in the 'used but not abused'category-it's still in good shape and plays so well;a beautiful track that plays beautifully.BUT THE B SIDE IS ONLY FAIR/POOR +unfortunately. This side seems to have taken all the wear and tear, which is a huge relief,of course,as it was normally the other way around in the old boot sale days when you found a cracker like this-the great side was trashed! There are a lot of marks, of various kinds,no jumps or sticks but there is quite a bit of crackle which mars this nice ballad. It's all about The A side though with this-a wonderful, inspired performance from the great and lovely ex-Ikette PatArnold with a fine production from Mr Oldham,is one of the very best UK Northern sounds-justifiably legendary.Remember too, this is an even rarer stock copy-demos,though very rare, are slightly more plentiful. With original Immediate company sleeve.Rare also to Immediate collectors too,of course.Just a shame about the B-side though-because of this I'm starting the bidding fairly low .Sorry, scanner not working just at present, but please check my feedback-I've had many happy customers around the world for many years
