All LPs have been thoroughly inspected, including a playcheck on my stereo set (Thorens 126 MKII with EMT 929 arm and EMT TSD 15 cartridge).
 
MONO RECORDS HAVE BEEN PLAYGRADED ON MY LENCO L70 WITH THE DENON DL 102 PICKUP

Most of these records have been washed and put into new inner sleeves. If the original inner sleeves are still available, they will be included

Beethoven: Symphony no.4

Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, Wlihelm Furtwangler, live recording from 1945!

one long play record on Vox PL 7210, mono, Made in USA, black labels, very heavy disc

Sleeve: ex, some general wear, but quite fine

Record: ex, just some very light wear, plays well. sound quality is not the best for the live recording in the last months of the war.


This LP has a very special history. This LP and another 1945 live recording of Franck's Symphony were issued by Vox 1951 without Furtwangler's permission. He sued the company which had to stop the production and retract all the Lps that were still with the dealers. I think that was in 1952. So there are only a few of these records on the market and they are highly sought-after by Furtwangler-Fans. This one is in quite nice shape.
