Description

From 1970, comes The GTOs (Girls Together Outrageously) with the LP entitled Permanent Damage on Straight STS1059 white label DJ copy. I can't say enough about this LP. It rates up there with the Shagg's LP and is a prime example of girls completely messed up! The GTOs, with help from Frank Zappa, make fun of 60s pop culture and talk about people hitting on them! Includes Frank Zappa, a guitar solo by Jeff Beck, with help from Rod Stewart and Nicky Hopkins. This is an LP that has to be listened to to fully understand what is going on. Includes the rare 12 page booklet with photos of the group, which might help you grasp that something surreal is happening here! Includes a letter from Straight Records and a photocopy of a review of this LP! Small brown stains on front cover of booklet. DJ sticker on front cover of gatefold, minor high spot wear inside gatefold, with a photo of the five lovelies,high spot ring on front and rear cover, tiny rip on rear located next to open seam, cover is better than VG+ but not quite VG++, and record is VG++.
