Description
For bid is an obscure modern soul record, likely recorded in the 1980s as you can tell by the video sample. This is the type of record that one may see once and once only.
Short backstory:
Occasionally I do consulting with estate sale companies, and this past week was one of those times. As is common, most of the 45s and LPs were low grade common things, with the exception of this one. No record online that I can find. There was a business card attached that says "John Williams" along with the address in Plano, Texas. It is an old business card as there is not even an area code next to the phone number. Very likely, Joel Williams (songwriter) is probably related to John Williams. The song is very indicative of the type of things artists like Rockwell were performing in the early to mid 1980s and has a sort of paranoid feel about it. Native Fever, you don't want to contract this. The B side is an instrumental, the type you might hear on a Miami Vice episode. Check out the cool picture sleeve as well. It is taped tastefully in a couple places on the bottom.
If it doesn't sell, the price will revert to a higher Buy It Now item per my agreement with the consignee.

All records are shipped in industry standard mailers with stiffeners. If you win multiple records, I will combine for no extra charge beyond the $5 media mail fee for up to 5 records. After that, it's $1 per extra record. If you have won multiple items, please wait for my invoice before paying, as chasing down whom I need to refund for shipping is not a fun way to spend a Thursday night, or any night really.
