Description
A masterpiece from two masters- Harry Belafonte and Steve Hoffman. This is Belafonte's follow up to his monural release "Calypso" but this was was a great RCA recording form the classic era engineered by Bob Simpson. Always exemparly sound. But under the supreme care of Hoffman and DCC, it has become an essential audiophile audition album.
The was treated with Disc Doctor so any sense of wear or deteoration is absent.

Review from allmusic.com:<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Belafonte was an established all-around entertainer and actor by the time of this album, so it could be seen in a sense as a return to "roots" styles. In any case, it's all-out calypso, with backing by the Trinidad Steel Band, and qualifies as one of his most energetic albums, even getting rambunctious at times. â€
