Description
The record you are viewing is part of a collection acquired through a successful auction bid. The product purchased is from a deceased record store owner whose doors closed circa 1970, having made a run of it during the 60's. An incredibly large volume of LPs remained, many in new (sealed) or pristine condition and properly stored. These will comprise the bulk of offerings I will be posting on eBay. With a vast and well preserved inventory, it will take time to sift through and uncover the many hidden gems that await. My goal is to present these finds to eBay buyers in a timely and systematic manner. I am aware finds of this nature are indeed rare, but the fact is, the records I will be listing have sat undisturbed for over 40 years waiting to be rediscovered, shared and enjoyed. RARE Atlantic flat edge deep groove MONO LP 1220 - released 1955
NM vinyl has a few barely visible sleeve marks with no effect on play. No play or handling marks, though may have been played once prior based on small singular spindle trail on Side Two. Play test on NAD C555 turntable revealed clear and luminous analogue sound. Very light, infrequent vinyl inherent surface does not interfere with superior sound. A high quality pressing. EX laminated cover has light shelf / ring wear, small edge wear 3 corners, a bit of rear panel discoloration consistent with age, and small square adhesive remnant rear center throat.
