Talking Heads - ' Stop Making Sense '
rare Promotional Copy of the Limited Edition Version
which came with 20-Page Book and different cover that the
normal version of this release. what makes this copy special is that
it also has a Film Strip Insert that we've never seen
or even seen mention of - ever!
the filmstrip insert appears to be an actual section of movie film and shows part of the band performing live from the movie with David Byrne in front playing acoustic guitar.
the scene is repeated 8 times. each end is bound with white paper with text at the top and the Sire logo at the bottom

the same appears on front and back, and it is kept in a rice paper sleeve which it must've come in to protect it.

this record (with film strip and book) came from a former record industry person who kept lots of rare promotional stuff
from over their career throughout the '70s - '80s and only recently sold it all off to us. this is one of the more unusual items!

the cover, book and filmstrip insert are all in excellent condition and the cover has a gold-stamped PROMO promotional stamp at upper-right and while the record is shiny and clean, it has some visible wear that's mostly light, but there is one scuff at the start of side 2 that causes background noise until the needle passes (it's pretty brief) and otherwise the LP has been FULLY PLAY TESTED and besides the scuff, it plays and sounds great.
