Rare Soul Funk Gospel THE EXCITING PILGRIMAIRES Jesus Is Real Mint

Description

The Exciting PILGRIMAIRES in Mint condition and looks unplayed as it was in the middle of a stack of unplayed 45’s. I was curious about what looks to be a vanity pressing for the group and played the Jesus Is Real side and was astounded by the soulful vocals! I love and collect soul gospel but this blew my mind! The flip is Come On Father. The labels are pasted on the wrong sides as they indicate the songs that are on the flip.

I don’t usually say very much in auction listings, but this incredible group deserves for me to mention everybody involved. L. Rorie - J. Ray - J. Donald - C. Montague

Musicians: Kevin Orr, bass; Jarett Orr, lead guitar; Rudy Catwell, rhythm guitar; Greg Williams, drums
