Description
A rare original private recording, “Silver Birch” – the Grimsby based folk group, formerly the Forrestry Commision, made this recording in 1974 on the Brayford lable.
This LP was given to me by Angie Seal on the week of it’s release and has been in my possession ever since. It is signed on the back by all the members of the group, which can be authenticated by Angela if required. It has been played about a dozen times and is in very good condition and as far as I can see there are no faults or scratches on it. The sleeve has been in a plastic cover all the time and is also in very good condition, apart from the glue drying out at the top of the sleeve. I haven’t tried to remedy this as I would probably make a hash of it.
