This Listing is for a very Rare Ritchie Valens White Label Promo EP on the DEL-FI Label. The # is PR-1. This was produced in 1959 as a Special Programming Release for Radio Stations to Promote Ritchie Valens Memorial Month. I have not seen one of these for sale before with a picture sleeve, but this one comes with one. Visually the vinyl grades a M- and is as close to MINT as I have ever seen on a record. There are No Scratches, Scuffs, etc... It plays very well, but does have some occasional light noise. Because of that I will Grade it at VG++ (it's been played, but carefully). Picture Sleeve is M- , but does have 3 or 4 extremely tiny specks of something on the front and a very light crease on the top.(See Pictures). On the Back, there is a very light amount of Silver, on the upper part of the sleeve, from where the sleeves were apparently stacked when freshly printed. All in all, an extremely rare find and a nice piece of history.

Grading is based on the following criteria

Mint = New Store Stock - We Don't Use this Grade

Mint- = Near New With Only One or Two Small, Insignificant Defects

VG++ = Extremely Nice. Would be Mint-, Except for a Couple of Light Scratches or Scuffs, Which Do Not Affect Play

VG+ = Nice, but Obviously Used Record That May Have a Series of Light Scuffs or Scratches. It Probably Plays with a Few Slight Pops and/or Light Background Noise, but has No Serious Problems.

VG = Well Used Record That Still Sounds OK When Played, but May Have Moderate Surface Noise, Pops, etc.

VG- = a very well-worn record that plays without skipping, and will do until a better copy can be found.

We do not use abbreviations for defects/condition, but will clearly detail any defects/Issues with the Cover and the Record. We will do our best to explain the defect, as well as photograph it.
