Up for Auction is an Extremely Rare, White Label, Red "A" Radio Station, Promo Single, Australian, First Pressing of
THE BEATLES
"All You Need Is Love"
This is an extremely rare issue of The Beatles- "All You Need Is Love/Baby You're A Rich Man". One of two unique "White Label" and Red "A" promos issued by E.M.I. for the band in 1967.
It was issued to radio stations for their use only and in extremely limited quantities, it is a highly prized collector's item for any Beatles fan.
I have play-tested this copy personally and it plays EXCELLENT PLUS. You cannot hear one tick, skip or crackle, the background is totally silent in quiet spots.
A copy in this same condition, with sticker marks, and writing on the labels, a heat stain on the edge of the vinyl, have sold for $272 in 2012 and $256 Aus. in 2013 (Popspike). None have come up for sale since!!!
This particular promo issue is coming up for sale less & less, as keen collectors, who have been lucky enough to get one hang on to them, they are an excellent financial investment, and are becoming like hen's teeth.
If you truly want one of these very Rare, Beatles, Australian, Promo Issues, then give yourself a treat for Christmas and go hard, as it will be a fair few years before you will see another one.
The record is in VERY GOOD PLUS condition with a few light, fine, surface hairlines here & there both sides, that can only be seen in artificial, light when viewed at an angle.
Looking at it in normal light, you can see no damage. Nothing that affects the quality of the audio play-back though.
The labels are clean, bright, crisp with some extremely light signs of age, and also VERY GOOD PLUS, CONDITION.
It is a Rare Australian Promo Pressing (see photos).
