Rare PAUL ROBESON Album SIGNED & Dated 1947 Autograph
Paul Robeson autographed the inside front cover of this record album with the following inscription: "So nice to have seen the comrades again Every good wish Paul Robeson Feb. '47"
In one album: Two Sets of Records 1. SPIRITUALS, Columbia SET-D162

1. This wonderful 78 rpm Columbia Masterworks album, Spirituals, is quite rare. Originally it had four 10-inch records, but one of the four has been replaced by RCA Victor #25362, an English recording of Robeson singing Gloomy Sunday & Honey.
2. The previous owner has laid in the Ballad for Americans, complete on two disks, which has Robeson singing with the American People's Chorus and the Victor Symphony Orchestra.
All records are in GOOD TO VERY GOOD Condition with very little surface noise. Shipping weight is 5½ pounds.
The songs included on the Spirituals records are:
- Go Down Moses
- Balm in Gilead
- John Henry
- Water Boy
- Nobody Knows de Trouble I've Seen
- Joshua Fit de Battle of Jericho
