Description
We recently purchased a major radio station collection of 45’s. If you are new to our auctions please check our feedback’s and you will see we’ve had lots of happy customers and lots of repeat business.
This is a great copy of Patti & the Emblems "I'm Gonna Love You a Long, Long Time b/w "My Heart's So Full of You" on Kapp Records #K-897. It is a radio promotional copy.
I rate it as M- and frankly it's one of the very few I would have felt comfortable rating as Mint. It does not have any light marks as I call for in my description of a Mint - record. It plays and looks as close to Mint as I've seen from the thousands of records in this collection, but let's call it Mint - and have you be pleasantly surprised.
The only problem that I see in any way is on the flip side vinyl there is a small imperfection on the very outside of the record which does not effect the play or sound in any way. It is not on the A side of the record which looks and plays perfectly.
The # in the deadwax is K 11127-2 (which looks etched.) This is the real thing and has been in the backroom of this radio station since the 1960's and I honestly believe has never been played till I did recently.

GRADING:
MINT * Perfect record, clean gloss, no marks. A mint record is uncommon.
MINT- * Very clean only a couple light marks; plays very well.
VG++ * Surface marks, no scratches, should play and look very good, with minimal surface noise
VG+ * More surface marks, maybe a few faint scratches; should play and look very good but more surface noise, some occasional clicks
VG * Still a nice record, looks used, light scratches, no gouges, still plays fairly well, some clicks
VG- * Record shows wear, marks, scratches, some surface noise
