Here I have for sale the UK-only issue of the stage soundtrack to "Much Ado About Nothing" (1983), composed by Nigel Hess.

This 1982 Royal Shakespeare Company Stage Performance starred Derek Jacobi and Sinead Cusack (pictured on the album cover as Beatrice and Benedick).
This album has never had a release on CD so this remains the only available source for this underrated soundtrack. An interesting comparison to the later Patrick Doyle score to the Kenneth Branagh film.

Condition (refer also to notes at bottom):
Vinyl: G-VG. Looks very clean on visual inspection. One scuff mark through tracks 5-6 of side 1. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is very good throughout. Some mild surface noise, static and light clicks in places, most audible through quieter sequences. Plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking. A nice listening experience.
Outer Sleeve (Cover): G-VG. Colours are clear and unfaded. Light disc outline present on front. A few very light creases in from spine edge. Spine shows mild wear and some splits. Corners are mildly worn and scuffed. Edges are mildly worn. Bottom edge has centre split and more noticeable scuffing. Some soiling at top front. Aperture is clean and only shows the odd bit of wear. Reverse has some creasing in from spine and damage to bottom area. Top edge shows some wear as well. Overall good.
Inner Sleeve: G-VG. Original. Off-white paper with rounded corners and plastic lining / central hole. Yellowing on edges. A few minor creases/folds though normal handling.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
