Hello, Attention all of you serious Monkees collectors! Up for sale is an original copy of the extremely rare Monkees Headquarters album in Mono, on Colgems (COM-103), with the original seal intact! Not only that, this is the much rarer version that has a photo of Mike, Pete and Mickey with beards! Apparently, Colgems didn't like their Monkees looking so scruffy and pulled this version and replaced it with a photo of the boys as their usual, clean-shaven selfs. This album, in its rare sealed condition is one of the highlights of my personal collection, but I've had it for quite a while and have decided to sell it and let someone else enjoy the pride of owning such a rare Monkees collectible. The album is bright white in appearance, with the only flaws being a tiny ding on the upper right corner (and I mean very tiny!) and a place where the original seal is just starting (and I mean just barely) to open on the upper left corner at the very top of the spine - I only mention these so that the most fussy collector has no disappointments on receiving this treasure. I offer a full 3-day return policy (less mailing costs) BUT the album must be returned in its original sealed condition, of course. To make this very clear, because much of the value with this album is that it is still sealed, if you decide to open it, no returns allowed. Mailing cost, w/insurance, is $7.50.
