Description
Well, this is one of the most treasured items in my collection, but it's time to buy new studio equipment, so....
It's the insanely rare European release of NIRVANA's seminal debut album Bleach on marbled / splattered RED / WHITE vinyl. This record was packaged with a "bonus" copy of NIRVANA's "Sliver" b/w "Dive" 7" single on translucent BLUE vinyl. This source was pressed in the US, but sold only in Europe. Only 500 copies of this limited-edition set were pressed, making this the rarest variation of Bleach ever produced (except for test pressings and one-of-a-kind pressing errors). I've been the sole owner of these records.
And both records are in beautiful, mint condition. I did remove the shrinkwrap...as I wanted to see what the record looked like...I then played the LP exactly once with a pro needle/cartridge/turntable (to make a cassette...remember those?)...then I put both the LP and 45 in plastic sleeves, where they've remained for over 15 years.
The sleeves are both in excellent, glossy condition. The slightest "bump" on the top left corner of the Bleach LP...very minor indeed.
Handwritten matrix numbers on Bleach are:
Side A: SP-34-A Kdisc ch L.32926
Side B: SP-34-B Kdisc ch L.329626.X (the first "6" is scratched out)
Handwritten matrix numbers on Sliver 45 are:
Side A: SP-73-A Kdisc ch L-36293
Side B: SP-73-B Kdisc ch L-36293-X
