Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. Somewhere between KAK and SRC, much beautiful, heartfelt psych-rock, with a strangely loose/tight approach to timing. Some marvellous moments, and really one of the gems if you dig this kind of stuff. Uplifting if you play it at the right time. The guitar work here is fantastic from beginning to end in this Maryland prog psych Lp that features really ambitious writing, especially the story of drowning sailors in "Under a Wave" and the "Henry Stared" mini-epic about a man's revelation.

A former Maypole band member reflects how the very involved producer created the recording process -- dividing one track into 2 with a sudden explosion sound effects. In other places the record is filled with sound effects injected in the immediacy and power of the band's attack. Overall, the band shows undeniable talent and promise, and the guitar playing is intricate and heavy at once -- it's fun to listen to, and to hear the ideas and the musicianship.
