Description
JUDY GARLAND
A STAR IS BORN
Soundtrack
COLUMBIA BM1201
1954
Here is the very rare 1954 78rpm boxed set of the soundtrack. What is especially interesting is how the "Born In A Trunk" sequence is split over 3 sides. "Someone At Last" is split over two sides. Notice how the songs look as though they're not in the proper order. This is because the sides are set up to be stacked on a "stackable" record player, one on top of the other, then after the first 5 sides have played the whole stack is flipped over to continue playing the remaining sides.
This special 78rpm set actually has metal hinges binding the cover to the rest of the box.
Box has some wear and damage.
There is a price tag (probably not the original) on the cover
Records show wear and have not been tested.

If you decide to purchase one of my items, there is no doubt that you and I both want our transaction to be a positive experience. In order to make it such, I respectfully request that all bidders, buyers and interested parties follow a few simple rules:
ASK QUESTIONS: I pride myself on customer satisfaction and I respond to emails usually within 24 hours. I honor nearly all requests including additional photos, more descriptive information, and questions about shipping and handling fees. If you are unsure of something don’t just bid and hope it works out. Although we have a fantastic 100% money back return policy, I am not responsible for your mistakes.
DO NOT COMMUNICATE WITH ME THROUGH NEGATIVE FEEDBACK: I value my feedback and, therefore, I make every effort to make your experience a positive one. Unlike other sellers, I believe it is my responsibility to leave positive feedback when you have satisfied your end of the bargain. Therefore, I leave feedback once you have paid. So, the least you can do is contact me with any problems before leaving negative feedback. Let me give you some examples of what not to do:
NEGATIVE FEEDBACK: “Was not worth the $, scratched, scuffed, dented speaker grille and OVERPRICED!!!” - 1969cadillaccoupedeville
With respect to this comment, I admitted wrongdoing in not thoroughly checking the item for damage. Unfortunately, the user never contacted me via email. When we finally spoke his response was, “well, I assumed that you would not offer me a satisfactory refund.” Wrong! We hashed it out and I gave him a refund that reflected what he was willing to pay for the item in its condition.
NEGATIVE FEEDBACK: “I still have not received this item. Please email me what the problem is.” – lizzyluvstoshop
Oh, this one is classic huh? Why didn’t she email me? She won the auction on 9/27/6. She paid on 9/29/6. The item was sent via media mail on 10/2/6. She leaves negative feedback asking me to email her on 10/9/6. Between 10/2/6 and 10/6/6 there were only FOUR business days! This woman is a complete novice.
Update: lizzyluvstoshop agreed to retract her feedback!
I am not an expert, but you can bid with confidence based on my rating. I usually grade items much lower than they actually are.
I prefer paypal, but I will accept check or money order
IF YOU LIVE IN NEW YORK STATE - DO NOT PAY UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN INVOICED, AS YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY SALES TAX!
