From my own personal autograph collection I am extremely pleased to offer for sale this rare hand-signed Sir George Martin CBE autograph mint 6"x4" white album page.
While head of A&R at Parlaphone Records, Sir George produced every Beatles record, except Let It Be. Sir George also wrote the orchestral scores for The Beatles movies Hard Days Night and Yellow Submarine. A true legend of the music world.
It gave me enormous pleasure when I met with the Sit George in 1996 at the Greater London Radio Station in Marlyebone High Street, where he found it no trouble at all to autograph several items for me including this album page for my son Simon..
Sir George has nicely inscribed "Best to Simon - George Martin". Quite stunning ! If you would like to cut out the "To Simon" inscription, it would be no problem and would not detract from the presentation of the piece.
Very seldom do "Authentic" Sir George Martin autographs come on the open market.. So if you are a serious fan or a collector of rare and sought-after Beatles music memorabilia, this stunning autograph would make a wonderful addition. This autograph would look fabulous mounted and framed with a photo of Sir George or a Beatles record.
